The Economic Affairs Council convened its twelfth session this week in Abu Dhabi, and is expected to discuss several topics including developments of Free Trade agreement negotiations between the UAE and USA, and updates to the local company trade law.
Additional topics include plans for a permanent workers' affairs committee in Dubai which would allow GCC natives to deal in real estate, according to <i>WAM</i>.
Chairman of the Council, Jum'aa Al Majid, presided over the session, which was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, Saeed Mohammed Al Ghandi, Sultan Saeed Al Mansoury, as well a number of the council members representing economic activities in Dubai.
