ALBAWABA- Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a stark warning to Israel and the United States on Thursday, threatening massive retaliation for any perceived aggression.
IRGC Commander Hossein Salami declared that Iran would unleash a devastating response if attacked, claiming that even a single missile from Yemen had paralyzed Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, and questioning how Israel could withstand hundreds of Iranian missiles.
“Make one wrong move, we will open the gates of hell on you,” Salami said in a fiery televised address, adding: “Any location in any territory that serves as the origin of aggression against us will become the target of our retaliation.”
Salami also hinted that regional countries aiding any military strike against Iran could be targeted, broadening the scope of Tehran’s threats beyond just the U.S. and Israel. The comments underscore rising tensions as Iranian forces flex their military might amid the ongoing standoff over its nuclear program.
In a dramatic show of force, Iran's state television announced the imminent unveiling of a massive underground military facility, described as a major expansion of the IRGC’s strategic infrastructure.
Earlier on Thursday, Iranian media broadcast footage allegedly showing an underground drone base operated by the IRGC's naval forces.
The announcement came just hours after U.S. President Donald Trump made remarks suggesting a preference for diplomacy over conflict. “We’re trying to work on Iran to get that solved without having to get into any bombing. As we say, big bombing. I don’t want to do that,” Trump told reporters.
