“Let Us Dream of the Brush and the Picture”, an Activity for Children in Al Farah Garden

The Sports Facilities Department at the Greater Amman Municipality ( GAM ) has organized a sports and environmental activity for children at Al Farah( joy ) Garden in Al Rusaifeh under the title “ Let Us Dream of the Brush and the Picture.”
The activity, supervised by the Sports Gardens Section, aims at disseminating environmental culture through involving the children visiting the garden into activities of sports and recreational nature that help create a generation aware of the environment, and also enhance their loyalty to the garden, and eventually maintain it.
The Chief of the Sports Gardens Section, Engineer Rula Al Ma’ayta explained that the activity comprises two stages: one for painting, and the other for photography. She further added that an art exhibition in the Culture Street to select the winning painting and the winning picture shall be held upon the conclusion of the program.
It is worth noting that GAM has executed the project of improving and developing Al Farah Garden “ The Pepsi Pond” in Al Rusaifeh over a space area of 105 dunnoms , thus creating a recreational and social environment to attract citizens to spend good time in it.
