New Panamera S Hybrid arrives at Porsche Centre Jordan

Porsche Centre Jordan, represented by Nuqul Automotive, announces the arrival of the new Porsche Panamera S Hybrid. The addition to the Panamera model line offers a sporty and exclusive character as well as custom comfort so typical for Porsche’s Gran Turismo family and sets a new benchmark in its segment for fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.

Featuring a V6 engine, the new model has a total power output of 380 hp with a best consumption of only 6.8 l/100 km of fuel based on the NEDC, resulting in CO₂ emissions of just 159 g/km. These results put the new model far in front of all other hybrid production vehicles in its class.

The Panamera S Hybrid also sets new standards, both in terms of general performance and when measured against hybrid vehicle characteristics. It accelerates from a standing start to 100 km/h in 6.0 seconds reaching a top speed of 270 km/h. Thanks to Porsche Intelligent Performance the driving characteristics of the V6 Panamera S Hybrid are very similar to that of the Panamera S with its eight cylinder engine, yet offering less fuel consumption and lower emissions.

Depending on the driving situation the range in electric mode is approximately two kilometres with pure electric driving possible up to 85 km/h. The Porsche hybrid drive is also the only system in the world able to exploit additional consumption reserves thanks to the so-called "sailing" process on motorways and main roads. This entails disengaging and switching off the power train at speeds of up to 165 km/h during phases when no power is being delivered by the combustion engine.
