NBK honors second group of AUB High Fliers

National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) recently celebrated the graduation of the second group of participants in the prestigious High Fliers leadership program, in partnership with the American University of Beirut.

The event was organized under the personal sponsorship and presence of NBK Group Chief Executive Officer Ibrahim S. Dabdoub and attended by NBK Capital CEO Salah Y. Al Fulaij and the Dean of Olayan School of Business at the American University of Beirut, Professor Gefrorge Najjar.

Commenting on the success of the program, Dabdoub said: "The next generation of leaders is the future of NBK. We are committed to identifying and developing our talented people so that in time they can guide the bank to even greater success."

Dabdoub congratulated the graduates and called on them to strive for excellence. "This program marks the start of what will be a continuing process to nurture and grow our young talent. I am delighted with the outcome of this program and look forward to seeing the participants moving into key leadership roles in the bank," added Dabdoub.

The High Fliers leadership program is designed in partnership with AUB to provide NBK's future leaders with a wide range of leadership disciplines. This intensive program, which commenced in May 2009, covers topics such as finance, risk and people management skills and included classroom discussion, case studies and assignments.
