NBK honors outstanding high school grads

Under the auspices of the Minister of Education and Higher Education Mr. Ahmed Abdelmohsin Al Mulaifi, National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has honored outstanding high school graduates in a ceremony held recently at Regency Palace, as part of NBK’s corporate social responsibility program.

Minister of Education and Higher Education Mr. Ahmed Abdelmohsin Al Mulaifi praised NBK’s initiative in supporting Kuwait’s youth and sponsoring outstanding high school graduates for the academic year 2010/2011.

NBK's Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Bank & Community Committee, Nasser Musaed Al Sayer stated: “NBK believes in recognizing and rewarding merit and achievement. NBK regularly sponsors educational institutions and activities in Kuwait and feels that this strong commitment to the community and Kuwait’s youth is vital for the future development of the country.”

“NBK leads by example in the realm of Corporate Social Responsibility, regularly supporting students with training programs, educational opportunities and awareness campaigns,” Al Sayer added.

NBK has honored Kuwait’s top 50 high school graduates for the academic year 2010-2011 in the Arts and Sciences, as well as honoring the top school graduate in Religious studies and private schools.
