Visitors can expect a lot when they visit the highly interactive Nawras stands at this year’s COMEX exhibition in Muscat from 25 April. Demonstrations and displays of services will show innovation while new offers and product launches will see Nawras creating a buzz from its futuristic looking stands in the shopper and business sections of this popular event. Raffle draws for exciting prizes will also be taking place every day of the event.

During the annual IT, technology and telecom event, Nawras will be unveiling its latest WiMAX modem, a simple plug and play device for internet access. On display at both stands, this sleek model is much smaller than previous modems being comparable in size to a thin paperback book. Featuring built-in Wi-Fi support and to be given free or heavily discounted with Home Broadband bundle subscriptions, this HBI-200 modem also has a built-in smart antenna array to making it easy to receive the WiMAX signal.

Business customers are being invited to meet with account managers who will be on hand to talk about Nawras now being the preferred provider of fixed and mobile services for so many of the top corporate names in Oman. At the business stand, an interactive platform will allow visitors to see how Nawras has connected the buildings in the Central Business District with an optic fibre network ring and what pleasingly different services can be availed through this infrastructure.

Another exciting element for the business segment will be the Nawras Business Group offer, giving new corporate customers the tremendous advantage of three months of free inter-company local calls and SMS after signing up for a minimum of five new mobile postpaid lines.

Also at the business stand, hands on experiences for visitors will explain how Nawras helps telecommunications administrators control and monitor expenses. Debuting at COMEX will be the bill analyser, a brand new service giving valuable analytical information to telecom administrators as part of the popular MyNawras self-care web tool.

Hussain Al Lawati, Nawras Sales Director, said, “This is our second year at COMEX as a full service provider and as always, we are looking forward to this annual event as it gives us the ideal opportunity to get closer to our customers. We invite visitors to come and see how Nawras is already serving many businesses with great value and award-winning customer service. Our demonstrations will feature some of the ‘firsts’ introduced to the market through last year’s launch of fixed services.”

Nawras will be located in prime positions on the business side of COMEX and on the shoppers’ side of the exhibition.

Nawras, a Qtel Group company, is proud to be supporting COMEX as it continues to develop its role of being one of the largest IT, telecom and consumer electronics exhibitions in the region. The event will once again provide Nawras with an opportunity to establish new contacts and strengthen existing partnerships while showcasing its pleasingly different services.
