nasair launches 11 weekly flights to major Turkish cities

nasair, the first low cost carrier airline based in Saudi Arabia, has launched new flights to three major cities in Turkey: Istanbul, Antakya and Adana. The airline will operate 11 scheduled weekly flights from Riyadh and Jeddah airports, bringing the number of its international destinations to 21 cities.
nasair is the first airline to launch scheduled flights to Antakya and Adana from Saudi Arabia. The flights will accommodate the growth in demand from Turkish expats living and working in Saudi Arabia, as well as the more than half a million pilgrims who come to Saudi Arabia each year from Turkey.
The economic significance of Istanbul, Turkey’s largest city, along with its reputation as one of the world’s great tourist destinations made it an obvious inclusion in the new expanded nasair route network.
Turki Al Jawini, Director of Sales said, “With the addition of these three new routes, our first to Turkey, the number of international destinations which nasir services has reached 21. We at nasair are very proud of our achievements to date and are committed to the ongoing development of services for our customers and further expansion of our network.
“The Turkish air travel market is one of the largest in the region. To better service travellers between the two countries, we have introduced four direct flights between Jeddah and Istanbul each week, three weekly direct flights between Jeddah and Adana as well as twice weekly direct services between Antakya and Jeddah and Antakya and Riyadh.”
The routes will be flown by nasair’s modern, comfortable Embraer E190s aircraft.
Since its launch in 2007, nasair has sought to provide greater opportunities to travellers, by offering a service based on four core values; on time performance, competitive fares, young fleet and smart services. Lowest fares, seat selection and discounts on pre-paid excess baggage are available online at www.flynas.com and for all sales channels the earlier a passenger books the lower the fare.
Al Jawani added, “nasair operates more than 500 scheduled flights every week to 21 international and 6 domestic destinations with the youngest and most fuel efficient fleet in the region. We will shortly be announcing more international routes and improved smart services to make direct booking with nasair even easier.”
