Director Basel Al Khateeb has announced that Syrian actor Abed Fahed and actress Taj Haydar have given their final approval to costar alongside Syrian actress Sulaf Fawakhirji in the new film “Mariam”. Filming of the first scenes is scheduled to begin in the upcoming few days.
The film is the first project for both Abed and Taj this year. Neither of the two actors have announced their upcoming television dramas which they will star in for the current year.
The film is produced by the General Institution for Cinema and tells the stories of three women all named Mariam in different times of their lives.
