MoF holds osteoporosis awareness campaign in line with CSR efforts

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) recently held an Osteoporosis awareness campaign urging participants to undergo regular medical checkups at its headquarters in Dubai.

In addition to educating attendees and raising their awareness on different aspects pertaining to Osteoporosis, employees and customers were also provided with the chance to perform bone density tests free of charge. Doctors and experts from the Dubai Bone and Joint Center discussed the results of the tests with each participant in detail and provided them which health tips and specialized diet plans to suit their different medical conditions. Participants that demonstrated low bone density percentages were also urged to visit specialists.

Commenting on the campaign, Saif Ali Al Khatri, Director of Government Communications Department at MoF said: “The Osteoporosis awareness campaign coincides with MoF’s efforts to play a positive role in society through holding campaigns that are beneficial to all members of the community.”
