The Gulf's million-dollar poetry
Apart from the glory, a Kuwaiti student took home five million dirhams ($1.36 million), the top prize in a television show followed by millions of poetry lovers across the region.
With his Nabati poem, Rajih al-Hamidani was crowned 2016 champion of "Million's Poet", staged in oil-rich Abu Dhabi for a seventh year.
"This is the biggest achievement of my life," said Hamidani after winning the May 17 final.

The problem with Yemen war
The problem with Yemen war is this cross point between a global attitude that doesn't know where the hell Yemen is located on the map (let alone of recognizing Yemenis as human beings!), and foreign super powers; like Saudi, UK, US, & local super powers; like Saleh & Abdelmalik Al Houthi stretching their muscles as they can, and most genuinely, Yemenis' pride in saying: we rather die silently than sensationalizing our agony & plight so the world can pay attention to our pain.
