Mashreq announces second winner of AED 5 million draw

Mashreq’s longest running and most innovative saving scheme MashreqMillionaire announced the second winner of the Mega AED 5 Million draw for this year. Mr Liakat Ali, Bangladeshi national has been declared as the winner of the mega prize, as part of the prize structure for the year 2011 where customers have the opportunity of winning AED 5 Million every quarter and AED 1 Million for the rest of the months.

Ali is a father of two and runs business in Sharjah Industrial Area, however due to uncertain financial situation was planning to wind up his business and move back to his home country.In excitement Ali said, when he was informed that he won the prize, “I am still shocked and presumed somebody was playing a prank on me. It is still a dream to me and I can’t explain how I feel. My prayers have been answered and now I can still run my business and offer my family a better life.”

The third AED 5 million draw will be held in September, followed by the final fourth draw in December 2011. With the introduction of the ‘multiplier option” certificate holders have the chance to multiply their entries into the draw and are rewarded for early savings .For instance customers saving in July will get free bonus entries into the next Mega AED 5 million draw, increasing their chances three fold whereas customers saving in August will double their probability of winning and so on.
