The "Al Arabiya" TV channel on Monday quoted the coordinating committees of the Syrian revolt as saying that a "massacre" was committed again Sunday evening in Homs by the forces loyal to the Syrian regime. At least 50 people were slaughtered in their homes in the neighborhood of Karm El-Zeitoune. Other sources said that the regime's forces slaughtered 45 people (20 women and 25 children).

Moreover, the Syrian opposition reported firefighting between government forces and the free Syrian army in Aleppo. Eight soldiers and militiamen were killed in these clashes. The regime's forces surrounded the area of Salaheddine where demonstrators gathered early Sunday evening.
