Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Sunday visited to the command center of the armed forces "to continue to monitor the security operations", according to Egyptian state television said.
On the other hand, nearly 10,000 of protesters gathered Sunday afternoon at Cairo's Tahrir Square and chanted slogans against Mubarak and his new deputy, Major General Omar Suleiman. "Not Mubarak, Not Suleiman. We want to topple tyranny," the shouted. The Egyptian army imposed a siege on the Square preventing the passage of vehicles.
