Newly sworn in Libyan Prime Minister Ahmed Maiteeq’s home came under attack from militants, killing one person in the early hours of Tuesday, according to Reuters.

Gunmen clashed with Maiteeq’s security guards in Tripoli when they fired grenades into the property. Another militant was injured and arrested, sources say.

The security situation continues to destabilize in Libya when militia groups formed during the ousting of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011 and refused to disarm since.
