Haider Mullah the spokesman of "Iraqia" list on Sunday denied reports published by Iraqi newspapers claiming the approval to participate in a government headed by outgoing Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki. Mulla said "There are those who try to fake public opinion, publishing false information. The position of Iraqia is clear regarding the formation of a government."
Mullah added that the Iraqi government is committed to support any reform program the formation of the government in accordance with the "electoral benefits."
Earlier, the Sabah newspaper reported Sunday that the list of "Iraqia" had reached an agreement to participate in a government headed by Prime Minister outgoing Nuri al-Maliki. It quoted informed sources as saying "the meeting of Iraqia which was held in Amman under leader Eyad Allawi came out with an agreement to participate in the National Council."
