Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi promised Sunday the international coalition forces led by the France, the United States and Britain, a long war, stressing that his country has been subjected to "unjustified aggression". He vowed not to abandon the fight against the enemies of Libya.
Gaddafi promised in a taped televised address Sunday to "arm the Libyan people to defend itself against the" traitors and foreign enemies." He added: "We will fight against those who are bombarding us with their rockets or aircraft." Gaddafi stressed "Libya is under unjustified aggression. We will fight on our land and will not leave ".
Gaddafi addressed the "coalition" troops, saying you "this time you will not be able to oppress us. This is the time of the peoples and not the armies."
He stressed that Libya will not allow America or France or Britain to enjoy Libya's oil.
Gaddafi called on the peoples of the world to stand with the Libyan people against the aggression. He urged them to hold demonstrations in support of Libya and denounce the aggression.
The Libyan leader said that foreign troops will fall, as happened to former dictators such as Napoleon, Mussolini and Hitler. According to him, he ordered the opening of weapons storage facilities in order to arm the Libyan people.
He said he would fight as long as the West continues its aggression.
Gaddafi addressed the coalition, saying, "If men die we will arm women, O cowards." He described them as "barbarians and terrorists."
