Crystal Palace v Liverpool: Preview and projected lineups

Crystal Palace once again have a means of directly influencing the club's in the top four and the Premier League title race as they host Liverpool at Selhurst Park this afternoon.

The Eagles defeated Everton to change the race for the last UEFA Champions League places and lost to Manchester City last weekend to give the Citizens the advantage once more.

Now they have the ability to either help hand City the title, or allow Liverpool a chance to get back in front for the time being and once again put the pressure on City to win in midweek.

Tony Pulis is certain to give the Reds a fight as he has been well prepared for all opponents this campaign, but it will be Liverpool whom are most likely to come out of the gates looking to get stuck in early and often.

Brendan Rodgers knows his side needs to score and score at will if they are to at least try to make up some goal difference in case City fails to score many goals against their opponents.

Neither side have any fresh injury concerns and the Reds will look to get back to the top of the table for the time being with a strong showing in London.

Palace XI: Speroni; Mariappa, Dann, Delaney, Ward; Puncheon, Jedinak, Ledley, Bolasie; Chamakh; Jerome.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet; Johnson, Skrtel, Sakho, Flanagan; Coutinho, Gerrard, Allen; Sterling, Sturridge, Suarez.
