Second Bahraini killed during riots

Bahraini security forces on Tuesday killed a Shiite protester outside a hospital in the capital where the body of a demonstrator killed earlier was being kept, a member of the opposition told AFP.

On Monday, a Bahraini protester was killed and 20 were wounded, including two seriously, on Monday during protests within the 'Day of Anger', which was called via the Internet. The protestor was killed following clashes in a village on the outskirts of the capital Manama.

Until the early hours of Monday evening some 21 people, including women, were transferred to the hospital to receive medical care. The Bahraini security forces used live and rubber bullets and tear gas.

The clashes reported between protesters and the Bahraini police in multiple villages in the northern region of the kingdom and in the outskirts of the capital Manama. .The riots began in a limited scale on Monday morning but later in the day intensified.
