Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday said Iran's enemies are "idiots" and that U.N. sanctions will not make his country abandon its nuclear works. Addressing industrialists in northern Iran Monday, the Iranian president stated the sanctions will only help Iran, forcing it toward achieving greater economic self-sufficiency.

He also said Iran holds documents showing the terrorist group involved in recent attack in Iran is equipped by NATO forces in Afghanistan and Pakistan. "We have documents showing that these groups are equipped by North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) forces in Afghanistan and Pakistan and are guided by their intelligence." Quoted by ISNA news agency, Ahmadinejad also criticized the West's double standards against Iran saying the "cowboy attitude has no place in Iran."
