A majority of Palestinians in the West Bank are opposed to the ongoing wave of stabbing attacks against Israelis, according to a recently released poll.
Fifty four percent of Palestinians living in the West Bank said they were opposed to such attacks, the Jerusalem Media and Communications Center, a Palestinian research institute, found in a survey that it published on Monday.
In Gaza, anti-Israeli rage was found to be much stronger: nearly 80 percent of Gazans responded to the poll by saying they supported the knife attacks on Israelis.

The poll had some other interesting findings: It found that over 43 percent of Palestinians supported the ongoing security cooperation between the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Israel, suggesting that in spite of the PA's low favorability, many Palestinians may fear its collapse more than they loathe the current status quo.
The poll also found that over 82 percent of Palestinians take a negative attitude towards Daesh, while only six percent support Daesh. The remaining 12 percent are presumably undecided.
