A human rights NGO released a heart-wrenching video today showing the brutality of the Syrian war.

Amnesty International published the video, titled "Daraya, Syria," to its YouTube page this morning. The video shows footage of the Damascus suburb Daraya, which has been under siege for three years and has been pummeled by thousands of barrel bombs.

The video contains some graphic content, so be warned. One of the more wrenching scenes shows a young boy speaking to the corpse of his brother. "Please don't leave me," the boy says.

Watch the video below:

Amnesty released the video as part of a push to convince Assad to allow humanitarian aid into the city of Daraya, where about 6,000 people are still living. Daraya is strategically important to the Syrian regime because it borders a military airport used by Russian planes, Reuters reported in February.

Russia has been Assad's most powerful ally in the five year civil war, which has claimed the lives of over 200,000 people.
