So last week the Internet was pretty into Michael Enright, the British actor from Hollywood who recently relocated to Syria to join Kurdish militia YPG to help fight Daesh.
We kind of forgot about him after the news, fiiling him away with the other Western recruits fighting with the Kurds (turns out, there's actually quite a few of them).
But meanwhile, the cyber tables were turning for the Hollywood star. This week there was a brief rumor going around saying Enright may have been arrested by his YPG commanders after getting into a bro brawl with an American military veteran and fellow YPG Westerner.
Like all good Internet gossip, the rumor was spawned from a Reddit thread, posted early Thursday, but all was not how it first seemed. Feast your eyes on the "exclusive" mishap below.
This thread went on to congratulate itself on incredible EXCLUSIVE investigative journalism. Respect, oh ye Reddit professionals.
But not so fast! In a blow to budding investigative Redditites everywhere, it appeared a troll had struck again.
