Justin Bieber is no stranger to controversy. Detained on multiple occasions in the US, the singer has an outstanding arrest warrant in Argentina.
He might be able to outrun the law, but he is no match for the Palestinian Twitter police.
The Canadian tweeted on Tuesday afternoon that he would be heading to Israel for the next stage of his “Purpose” world tour.

Bieber’s performance in Tel Aviv tomorrow comes at a time when a number of artists have cancelled gigs in Israel under pressure from the Palestinian boycott movement. Snoop Dogg, Lauryn Hill and U2 are among those who have called off their concerts in response to BDS activism.
It is not the first time the “Sorry” singer will perform in the Israeli capital. While in the country for his 2011 concert, he tweeted “You would think people would have some respect in holy places. All I wanted was to walk where Jesus did here in Israel.”
