What were Mohammad Abdo and “Queen” Ahlam doing at the same wedding in Qatar - a Royal wedding, mind you?

Turns out the singers were exclusively invited to perform at one of the Qatari ruling family’s wedding ceremonies, where guests danced the night away to their greatest hits, reported Laha Magazine.

Abdo kicked off the luxurious ceremony, followed by two performances by his right-hand woman Ahlam.

Word has it that Abdo always requests the presence of the “Queen” by his side at those types of events, as he considers her the number one female singer in the Gulf and Arab world!

That's no surprise then, since Ahlam considers herself the Um Kulthum of today's era!

The over-confident singer made the announcement on her Instagram account, when she posted a picture of Um Kulthum with the caption: “For every era there is a Kawkab Al Sharq.” That woman never seizes to amaze us!

Um Kulthum was a legendary Egyptian singer in the 1930s through to the 1970s, and was widely known as “Kawkab Al Sharq” - Arabic for “The Planet of the East.”
