ALBAWABA  Muslims around the world eagerly anticipate the final ten days, a period of intense spirituality, reflection, and devotion.

These last ten days hold immense significance in Islamic tradition, marked by special prayers, heightened acts of worship, and a deepened sense of connection to the Divine.

Among the most cherished nights of this period is Laylat al-Qadr, the Night of Power, which holds special blessings and significance. In these final days, Muslims strive to maximize their spiritual efforts, seeking forgiveness, mercy, and divine favor.

The last ten days of Ramadan, however, hold particular significance due to the emphasis placed on the Night of Power.

 Ramadan 2024

"I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship but Allah, I seek forgiveness from Allah, we ask     you (O Allah) for Paradise and we seek refuge with you from the Hellfire."

Allahumma innaKa 'Afuwwun, tuhibbul 'afwa, fa'fu 'anni

"O Allah, You are indeed Forgiving and love to forgive, so forgive me."

  • Allahumma ahillahu ‘alaina bil-amni wal-iman, was-salamati wal-Islam, Rabbi wa Rabbuk-Allah, Hilalu rushdin wa khairin

“ O Allah, let this moon appear on us with security and Iman; with safety and Islam. (O moon!) Your        Lord and mine is Allah. May this moon be bringing guidance and good.”

  • Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana ba’da idh hadaytana wa hab lana min ladunka rahmah innaka antal-Wahhab

“Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower.”

  • Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil ‘akhirati hasanatan waqina ‘adhaban-nar

“Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!”

  • Allahumma innee asa’luka sihhatan fi eeman, wa eeman fi husni khuluq, wa najahee yatba’ahu falah, wa rahmaatan minka wa ridwaana

“O Allah, I ask You for the health of my faith, such faith in good character, and salvation leading to    success, Your mercy, Your wellness, Your forgiveness, and Your pleasure.”

  • Allahumma aslih Ummata Muhammad. Allahumma farrij ‘an Ummati Muhammad. Allahumma Rham Ummata Muhammad [sallAllahu alayhi wasalam]

“O Allah! Improve (help) the state of the Ummah of Muhammad. O Allah! Grant ease to the Ummah of    Muhammad. O Allah! Have mercy on the Ummah of Muhammad.“

Laylat al-Qadr, often translated as the Night of Power or the Night of Decree, is believed to be the night when the Quran was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) by the Angel Gabriel.

Described in the Quran as "better than a thousand months" (Surah Al-Qadr, 97:3), this night is considered the most spiritually significant time of the year.

Muslims believe that on this night, Allah's mercy and blessings are abundant, and the angels descend to earth with peace and tranquility.
