Lebanese singer Yara as regretfully turned down her nomination to become part of the judging committee on the singing talent show “Najm Al Khaleej” (Gulf Star) in its fourth season. Yara stated that she has an extremely busy schedule in the upcoming period and must attend to numerous projects, which she has binding contracts in.
The managing committee of the talent show is still confused about which female artist to nominate instead of Yara to be part of the judges alongside Kuwaiti singer Abdullah Al Ruwaished and UAE singer Fayez Al Saeed. There are talks of nominating Egyptian singer Angham, but o final agreement has been reached. In the past seasons, Lebanese singer occupied the female seat o the committee, but her preoccupation with different projects like her upcoming album, forced her to back out this year.
The program is scheduled to be launched in the last week of the current month. Contestant from around the Arab world will participate in the program that is aired on the Dubai television channel.
