Egyptian superstar Tamer Husni has expressed his joy at being given the chance to perform the last pillar of Islam Hajj. The singer revealed that his first prayers while performing the holy pilgrimage were for his beloved mother.
Tamer stated that Hajj is the happiest and most purist moment in life and he prayed that next year his mother will be able to perform Hajj with him.
The singer had declined an invitation to attend the Big Music Awards ceremony to receive the award for ‘Legend of the Century’ due to the fact that it coincided with the time he was performing Hajj. Tamer revealed that many people try to cause him harm, especially in the recent period, but his faith in God had helped him overcome all harm.
Tamer performed the pilgrimage along with a number of Egyptian stars like Hamada Hilal, Ahmad Izz and Tareq Allam.
