Egyptian artist Tamer Husni released the 'promo' snippet of his new song “Si Assayyed” (Everyman)- featuring Snoop Dogg, in a duet between him and the international rap-artist Snoop Dogg. This is one of many English-Arabic songs presented on his new album, "A Small World".
The song title which breaks down into the familiar Naguib Mahfouz-originated Arabic expression Si El Said (familiar form for 'every-Egyptian-man') was written and composed by Tamer Husni himself, with mixing by Karim Abdul Wahab.
As for the English segment of the song, Tamer wrote and composed the general English lyrics featured with the help of the international writer and composer “Roy”, who worked with legends like Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, R Kelly and many other international artists.
Snoop Dogg wrote and composed his part of collaboration with Tamer Husni number. Tamer Husni's pretty fly for an Egyptian guy!
“Si Assayyed” video clip was scheduled to be released in the last few days but Tamer decided to postpone releasing it till the political situation in Egypt became stable.
