Prominent Egyptian actor Nour El Sharif will begin filming the scenes of his new television drama, in which he will portray the life of the great Libyan Omar Al Mukhtar. Filming is scheduled to begin directly after the upcoming Muslim holiday Eid El FItr, which is directly after Ramadan.
The new drama is to be aired during the Ramadan season of 2011. Nour is keeping a lid on the details of the drama, but did reveal he will portray the life of the great Libyan legend Omar Al Mukhtar. Currently the set for the drama is being prepared at village of Al Jabrieh. The drama will be produced by the company ‘Aflam Mohammad Fawzi’.
Nour was absent from the scenes this Ramadan season for the first time in years. The actor’s drama ‘Al Dali 3’ was previously scheduled to be aired during the month of Ramadan, but due to several reasons unspecified it was postponed.
