Prominent Saudi singer Mohammad Abdo has stated that he considers the recent disputes between Lebanese diva Faiouz and the heirs of Mansour Al Rahbani that led to courts, were only created to publicize for the two concerts that the singer held around the same time.

Abdo revealed during an interview with the Arab magazine ‘Laha’ that his opinion may be right or wrong, but his evaluation of the entire crises is that disputes were fabricated to attract attention to the concerts Faiouz held.

The singer added that there may have been disputes, but they could have been settled peacefully and among themselves without reaching courts or the media.

Abdo stressed that he considers Fairouz to be a legend and the music world will not witness anyone like her.

The disputes that had erupted between Fairouz and the Mansour Rahbani’s heirs were over the legal rights of some of the artistic works that the heirs claimed they were the only ones with exclusive rights to.
