The new television drama “Fi Hadrat Al Ghayeb” (In the presence of the absent) has been sold to be aired on ten different Arab satellite channels during the holy month of Ramadan.
The channels that bought right to air the drama include the Egyptian national channel, Syrian satellite TV, Lebanese New TV, Moroccan TV, Tunisia TV, and more.
The drama is considered to be the most important and biggest television production to be aired during the coming Ramadan season. It tackles the life of the late Palestinian legendary poet Mahmoud Darwish.
The leading role of Mahmoud is played by Syrian actor Firas Ibrahim. The drama also stars Sulaf Fawakhirji, Ahmad Zaher, Mirna Al Muhandis, Marah Jabr, Dina Haroun, Abd Al Hakim Al Qatifan and many more stars from around the Arab world. Direction of the drama is by well-known director Najdat Anzour and script is by Hassan Yousif.
