Egyptian belly dancer/actress revealed that she filed a lawsuit against the Egyptian television network suing them for not paying her the remaining wage for her role in the television drama “Muthakarat Say’at al Sum’ah” (Diaries of a bad reputation). Lucy’s had gotten extremely angry since the remaining cast of the drama received their wage in full.
Lucy stressed that she will not back out and demands that she be compensated and be paid for the role she performed, which was considered a very successful one among viewers.
In addition, the actress was frustrated when the network refused to air the drama once again and had stated it will not be shown on any of its television channels.
Lucy had encountered numerous problems during the making of the drama, the first being with her partner in the leading role actress Suzan Najm Al Din. It was said that Lucy had demanded that the director increase the number of scenes she was in, a matter he did, in addition to the fact that the two ladies had gotten into disputes over whose name would appear first during the credits.
