Prominent Syrian actor Jamal Suleiman stressed that he has not boycotted Syrian drama, but the current events in Syria with the revolution of the people demanding the resignation of the government has forced him to refrain from taking part in any project. The actor added that he is currently residing in Egypt and is very well respected there.
Jamal has been playing the leading role in a number of Egyptian dramas and his ability to master the Egyptian accent has led producers and drama maker eager to sign contracts with him.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Jamal is currently filming the scenes of his upcoming Egyptian drama “Sayidna Al Sayyed” and has completed a third of the episodes. The drama will be aired during the holy month of Ramadan.
