Lawyer Hisham Khalifah of Egyptian businessman Jamal Marwan, owner of ‘Melody’ group, stated that Jamal had filed a lawsuit against Lebanese singer Qamar demanding a monetary compensation of 100 million Egyptian Pounds. The lawyer stated that the lawsuit came after Qamar lost the case against Jamal alleging he is the father of her child.

Hisham stated that at the time that the court decided to close the case against Jamal filed by Qamar, he filed a lawsuit demanding the compensation for damages cause by Qamar to Jamal in terms of his reputation, and creating endless family problems for him alleging he had married her in secret.

Hisham said that Qamar claimed that she and Jamal had gotten married on January 16, 2011 and two of Jamal’s friends were witnesses. He added that after further investigation it was proven that Jamal had not travelled to Lebanon at the said time making Qamar’s allegations a complete lie.
