Songs by Egyptian singer Mohammad Hamaki have reached a record high of songs downloaded on the internet in the past week. Despite the singer being placed on ‘Egypt’s Blacklist’, which was created by revolutionaries of the January 25 Revolution that overthrew the government of ousted President Husni Mubarak to boycott stars that were against them, the singer was able to come back in the game after his recent heart attack. People began sympathizing with the singer and felt he deserved a second chance after his health deterioration.
It was added that Hamak’s official page on the social network Facebook witnessed large numbers of visitors.
Recently, Hamaki was hospitalized after encountering three heart attacks and had immediate surgery done. The singer is now home recovering and has revealed that he intends to travel to Europe to follow of on his health condition and receive proper medical treatment.
According to the internet website MBC.net, the singer is currently for a foreign medical team to come to Egypt to determine the proper medical treatment and decide on when is a safe time for him to travel. A number of artists have paid Hamaki a visit to wish him a speedy recovery.
