Algerian singer said that she is very thankful she was falsely accused of being involved in a prostitution scandal in Egypt rather than being assassinated like the late Lebanese singer Suzan Tamim and Tunisian singer Thikra. She added that she really regrets her recent visit to Egypt to sing at the Cairo Opera House and was not allowed entry in the country.

According to the internet website MBC.net, Fula stated that she is sick and tired of talking about the scandal and it has caused her so much especially in regards to her singing career and now is the time for her to put everything in the past and move on and concentrate on more important issues.

She added that the scandal was a conspiracy against her by jealous individuals aiming to ruin her reputation and end her career. Fula said that she is thankful she was falsely accused of prostitution rather than something more serious like drug trafficking which may have landed her in prison for life.

Fula stressed that the judge who convicted her in Egypt told her he knew she was innocent and he had resigned after her case for the fact that he could not prove her innocence.

Fula also stated that she has no intention to marry for a third time at the same time revealing plans to launch a new song about the Lebanese National Soccer Team and a second song about the agonies of women.
