Egyptian belly dancer Fifi Abdo denied recent circulating rumors that she and Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi are at odds with one another. It was said that a heated argument broke out between the two ladies behind the scenes of their new television drama “Mawlid Wa Sahbo Ghayeb” reaching a point of shouting at one another.
Fifi stated that there are spiteful people who try and create problems between her and Haifa by making up lies. Fifi added that she is a big fan of Haifa and is very fond of her style and looks and it is impossible for her, Fifi, to be jealous of a dress worn by Haifa as many said. Fifi said that Haifa is a sweetheart and she is very close to her.
Recently, a number of newspapers and internet websites published rumors that a big fight broke out between Haifa and Fifi and they began swearing at each other over the fact that Haifa was shocked when Fifi wore a similar dress to the one she was wearing. It was added that when Haifa saw fifi in the dress she began making insulting comments about her weight and that she looked ridiculous in the dress.
In the drama that the two women star in, Fifi plays the role of Haifa’s mother and Egyptian singer Ahmad Adawieh plays the role of her father.
