Egyptian singer Amro Diab took part in the historic referendum of constitutional changes in what was the freest vote in Egypt in more than half a century. Nine articles of the constitution were voted on.

The singer was caught on camera among masses of people standing in line to give his voice like all other Egyptian citizens. The singer’s official internet website posted that the singer was in line to cast his vote at 8 am on Saturday, which was when the voting took place. The singer called on all his fans in Egypt to go out and vote for the changes and that each voice makes a difference.

Amro did not reveal his opinion regarding the changes made to the constitution. While he was casting his vote at one of the schools in Cairo, Amro took pictures with fans.
