An Algerian residing in France, has vowed to throw a cake at Egyptian singer Shireen Abd Al Wahab’s face if she intends on visiting Paris, due to her recent alleged remarks of refusing to sing in Algeria.
On her part, Shireen stressed that this person does not represent the people of Algeria, again denying reports that she refuses to perform in Algeria. The singer stated that she is always committed to strengthen relations between the two countries.
The Algerian man, Aref Mashakrah, works for a company to protect and organize tours of artists in France, released a video on his personal page on the social networki site "Facebook", threatening to throw a cake at Shireen. Aref had in the past made a similar threat to Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram in Cannes, France.
Ated addressed Shireen in the video and said, “You will be present in Paris soon, and I will throw a cake at your face."
