Egyptian comedian actor Ahmad Hilmi has reached an agreement with director Khaled Mar’ee to increase their work load on the new film “Sabi Al Birimah” in order to have it ready for screening during the upcoming Muslim holiday Eid El Adha. The actor’s wish to screen the film during the holiday is unusual for him due to the mere fact that he normally releases his films during the summer season.
Ahmad had stated that he made the decision to screen the film in order to have the film stay in theaters for as long as possible.
In the film, Ahmad plays the role of a young man who falls in a big dilemma over his love for two different girls at the same time. As a result he suffers emotional and psychological problems that lead him to seek psychiatric help.
The film is written by Khaled Dyab and directed by Khaled Mar’ee. Egyptian actresses Zaina, Shiri Adel and Amy Sameer Ghanem will star in the film alongside Ahmad.
