Prominent Egyptian comedian actor Adel Imam is preparing for a new television drama titled “Firqat Naji Attallah” (Naji Atallah’s band). The drama will mark Adel’s return to the small screen after an absence that lasted more than thirty years.
The original script of the drama was at first supposed to be made into a film for the big screen, but due to production problems with the producing company ‘Goodnews’, it was converted into a television drama. Adel intends on entering the drama in the Ramadan TV drama race of 2011. Adel revealed that he has been longing to return to television for the longest time, but was waiting for a suitable script.
