Juha Alopaeus joins ABB Qatar as Country Manager and CEO

ABB, the leading power and automation technology group has appointed Juha Alopaeus, the Global Industry Leader of its metal and mining group accounts, as the Country Manager and CEO of ABB LLC in Qatar, effective July 1, 2011.
Juha, a Finnish citizen, has replaced Johan deVilliers who has taken a new position with ABB in the Gulf where he is responsible for managing its Power Systems business and is now based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Juha has been with ABB for 13 years and for the last 9 years has held global senior management positions based in Finland and in Germany.
