Jaguar Land Rover MENAP celebrates strong dealer performance

Jaguar Land Rover MENAP, manufacturer of premium luxury vehicles is celebrating another strong performance from its dealers in 2010, giving out eleven awards across the region at a recent conference attended by over 60 delegates from the GCC, Levant, North Africa & Pakistan, as well as senior executives from the manufacturer’s Global HQ in the UK.
The 2-day conference, held at Dubai’s prestigious Meydan Hotel, part of the recently renovated Meydan racecourse, not only enabled Jaguar Land Rover to recognise positive 2010 performances amongst its partners, but also gave delegates the chance to reflect on strong global sales results as well as the outlook for 2011 and the future of the business in the region.
A total of 11 awards were given out by Jaguar Land Rover to dealers across the region, with UAE’s Al Tayer Motors securing the coveted award for Most Land Rover Sales, as well as Highest Retail Market Share for Land Rover. Also recognised by Land Rover were MANA Automotive S.A.L, for Highest Land Rover Annual Sales Growth in Lebanon, and Egypt’s MTI Automotive, clinching the award for Highest Range Rover Annual Sales Growth.
Jaguar also rewarded its high performing dealers, including the oldest Jaguar importer in the region, Lebanon’s Saad & Trad, which was given the award for Highest Market Share, with Al Zayani in Kuwait winning two Jaguar awards, Most Sales and Highest Annual Sales Growth, also won by North African Jag Maroc in Morocco.
In addition, awards were also bestowed upon those who had demonstrated exceptional aftersales service to Jaguar Land Rover customers across the region, with the award for Customer Service Performance Programme 2010 going to both Mana Automotive in Lebanon & Mm Group in Egypt, a clear recognition of their ability to deliver the best possible customer experience in their respective markets.
A further two after-sales awards were given to Saad & Trad in Lebanon and Kuwait’s Ali Alghanim & Sons in Recognition of their Commitment to Training and Reaching Excellence in Technical Competency.

2010 has proved a fruitful year for the brands, collectively receiving over 80 awards from leading international motoring writers, magazines and opinion formers. Amongst those worthy of particular note include Automobile Magazine's '2011 Design of the Year' and Top Gear's 'Luxury Car of the Year' for the XJ and 'Car of the Decade' for the Range Rover as voted the by readers of autocar.co.uk. In the MENAP region, the Range Rover Vogue won the Middle East Motor Award for ‘Best Premium Luxury SUV’ at the International Automotive Show in Sharjah, and Jaguar scooped 3 awards for the New XJ - ‘Middle East Big Saloon of the Year’ from Evo ME magazine, ‘Executive Car of the Year’ by Car Middle East and ‘Best Luxury Performance Car’ by Automobile Middle East.
