Children from the Muslim Uighur minority have started taking boxing lessons in Istanbul on August 29, 2019. China has cracked down on the Uighur community who are mostly of the Muslim faith in the northwestern Xinjiang region. Moreover, experts and activists say over 1 million Muslim Uighurs and ethnic minorities have been rounded up in internment camps in the tightly-controlled region in China.
