Brazil's northeastern state of Bahia has revealed at the beginning of this month that a huge amount of oil was spilt near the beaches along the coast. Thousands of Brazilians rushed in order to help the government to remove the oil as they used wheelbarrows, spades and plastic gloves to get chunks of tar out of the water and sand. officials launched an investigation into the source of the vast oil spill, which is considered the largest in Brazil's history, in September.
