Global crude steel production reached 146.8 million tons in November, marking a 0.8% rise compared to last year, the World Steel Association (worldsteel) reported on Monday. China, the world's top producer, saw a 2.5% rise in steel output, reaching 78.4 million tons. India, the world's number two steel producer, posted an annual growth of 4.5% to 12.4 million tons.
