ALBAWABA - Iran and the United States continue to exchange attacks as Iran claimed yesterday that its attacks on Kuwait led to the killing of three American service members.

Tasnim news agency reported Sunday that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) carried out missile and drone attacks on Kuwait, allegedly leading to the destruction of the U.S. HIMARS missile base.

Moreover, the Iranian army released a statement announcing an attack on the U.S. military's drone command and control center in Bahrain.

In addition, Iran also claimed to have carried out attacks on Oman "targeting and destroying the long-range airborne FPS radar and the ship-detection radar."

Iran's Mehr news agency also reported Monday that Iran's military shot down one drone over the southern city of Bandar Abbas.

Did Iran kill three U.S. service members in Kuwait attacks?

However, regarding Iran's claims of attacking US bases in Kuwait and killing three American servicemen, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) released a statement denying the allegations.

It wrote, "CLAIM: Iranian propaganda claimed today that three American service members were killed in Kuwait by strikes from Iran. FALSE."

"TRUTH: There are zero reports of U.S. service member deaths or injuries in the region. All personnel are accounted for."

Why did U.S.-Iran attacks resume?

Despite the initial agreement between the United States and Iran, with the mediation of Pakistan and Qatar, attacks resumed when Washington said that Tehran had carried out airstrikes on cargo ships which were trying to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

The U.S carried out waves of attacks targeting various cities across Iran. In response, Tehran army launched missile and drone attacks against U.S. bases in the Gulf and Jordan.
