Syrian revolutionaries from Kafranbel, a town in the rebel-held province of Idlib, have made news before with their political drawings and messages uploaded for the world to see.
Now they've said goodbye to Jon Stewart, who created "The Daily Show" and had a run as host for 16 years before he stepped down with his final episode on Thursday. And while Stephen Colbert's tribute to Stewart was emotional, this photo comes as a close second.
The Kafranbel residents are known for making topical statements and relating them to the Syrian civil war.
Stewart, on his nightly news program, covered Syria's conflict since the war began. He's been sympathetic to Syrian opposition fighters, even hosted the Syrian National Coalition's former president Hadi al-Bahra on the show.
