Through black smoke clouds in the background that resulted from burning tires on the border siege, a group of Palestinian youth joined young woman to dance dabke on the Gaza border as part of the “Great Return March” that is being held for more than two months, since May 30.
Despite the danger of being shot by Israeli snipers, the youth danced dabke to the melodies of a Palestinian traditional song while wearing white Kofeyyes and the swinging ropes in their hands in an explicit way to approve their peaceful protests.
